I have some great news for you: My bill to expand birth control access post-Roe has passed the House! This is important as we have to adapt after the Republican Supreme Court led an assault on reproductive freedom in their Dobbs ruling.
This Sunday is the official marker of 100 days until the midterm elections. That means we only have 100 days to support the candidates who are going to make the difference between us holding our slim majority in Congress or not.

Look: As Frontline Chair in charge of helping vulnerable Democrats ahead of November’s elections, I’m seeing them get challenged by MAGA and “Big Lie” believers who plan to limit our rights. This was expected after 2020, but the concerning news is the Big Lie candidates are sweeping many of their primaries.
Not only did far-right competitors popping up all over the country (including my own opponent here in Sacramento County!) report record-setting fundraising in the second quarter – which is money they will use to run more misleading attacks – but they are also engaging in misinformation tactics and plotting to make reproductive rights even more scarce post-Roe.
Never before have I seen the far-right more fired up, John. That’s why my team needs to gather the resources to fight back against the dark money attack ads that are coming in the final countdown until Election Day. In August, our Frontline candidates will be hitting the road hard during the recess to meet their constituents and explain the stakes of this election. They’ll organize huge weekends of action for volunteers and build up their field teams. We have to make sure they can do everything they need to to win while also ensuring my own opponent loses momentum in our district.
