Hello there,

My name is Martin Sheen. Playing the president on The West Wing taught me that life is full of tough choices.

Often, we don’t know what right or wrong is, but often we do – and today I’m asking you to make a choice:

You can wait for someone else to stand up to Donald Trump’s House Republicans.

Or you can fight back and elect a Democratic House that will stop them in their tracks.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you for the first time. My friends at the DCCC have their big End of Month Deadline in 72 hours -- the most important they’ve ever faced in their quest to defeat Donald Trump’s House Republicans. Will you join me at this key moment by chipping in $5?

Decisions are made by those who show up.

In 2020, we decided enough was enough by electing President Joe Biden and delivering a Democratic Majority in the House and Senate.

Now, as we inch closer to perhaps the most consequential election in our lifetimes – and possibly in the history of our republic – we are once again deciding whether or not the politics of our present represent who we are as Americans.

So what’s next? I’m humbly asking you to rush in $5 by midnight to help protect our Democratic House Majority and defeat Trump’s dangerous Republicans.

I’ll leave you with this: Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful individuals can change the world.

Thank you,

Martin Sheen
