Friend, a big California poll was just released and the early reviews are in: People love Prop 30! 63% of likely voters are in favor of Prop 30, the Clean Air Initiative that will be on the November ballot in California, according to this recent survey from the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC). 83% of Democratic voters support Prop 30, as well as a strong majority of Independents at 63%. Prop 30 has had a momentous summer: - This great new polling comes on the heels of landing the California Democratic Party’s endorsement.
- We have a diverse coalition of firefighters, environmental justice warriors, business leaders, and working families behind this initiative.
- Environmental leaders like former State Senator Fran Pavley and former California Air Resources Board Chair Mary Nichols are on board.
- And we’ve earned the enthusiastic support of this EnviroVoters team, with nearly 1,500 signatures on our petition!
The early polling and broad support for Prop 30 shows the public demand for clean air and climate action. We just need to keep the momentum going all the way through November 8. Friend, will you help spread the word about this critical climate ballot initiative by following the Prop 30 campaign on social media and sharing its content? |
