We’ve got a big update from Wisconsin, John:
WFP’s Mandela Barnes is gaining serious momentum in his primary for U.S. Senate after two of his opponents dropped out this week to support his campaign. With the primary less than two weeks away, progressive support is united for Mandela, and Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and more are fired up to send him to DC.
The general election is likely to come down to Mandela and champion of the wealthy Ron Johnson, and the fate of our progressive agenda — including codifying human rights like abortion care — will depend on who wins this race in November.
This Sunday, July 31 at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT, we’ll be speaking with Mandela about his priorities and his plan to win at the WFP July Assembly. WFP National Director Maurice Mitchell will speak with Mandela about his vision for our country and answer questions submitted by WFP supporters like you.
Can you make it? RSVP now to join the conversation and submit a question for Mandela.

The Working Families Party Assembly is our monthly virtual gathering where we recommit ourselves to each other and the movement. We’ll talk about the biggest problems we're facing, share our priorities, and get concrete about how we are building the power we need to secure the future we want.
During this assembly, you'll get to know Mandela. You’ll hear how he’ll fight to tackle gun violence, defend abortion rights, and build communities where we can all thrive. And you’ll learn why we need to go all out for one of the highest stakes Senate races in the country. All attendees are invited to submit a question online, which may be answered by Mandela live during the Assembly.
We’ll also learn more about the movement we’re building in this crucial state from State Rep. Francesca Hong, a community organizer who’s working to advance the needs of working people in Wisconsin.
Let us know you’ll be joining Mandela Barnes, Francesca Hong, Maurice Mitchell, and the rest of the WFP community this Sunday by RSVPing now.
