Hi John,
In January 1973, when the Supreme Court handed down the Roe V. Wade ruling, it was a snowy day in New York. I was a college student headed to Albany to convince lawmakers that New York’s law decriminalizing abortion – which had passed in 1970 – should be preserved. That’s how long the fight for our reproductive rights has moved me to action.
Fast forward to today, when that fight is front and center again. That’s why my priority now is electing Josh Riley to Congress.
I trust Josh to carry this fight to Washington, so I’m doing all I can to help Josh win. Will you join me in this fight?
This week marks Josh Riley’s FINAL end-of-month fundraising deadline before the August election, and it’s all-hands-on-deck.
Josh’s team is just $15,000 away from their goal. Can you pitch in $5, $10, or more to help get them over the top?
I have to tell you, John, our reproductive rights are in pretty good shape in New York State. The big fight now is in Congress – where we’ll really need Josh’s experience and skills. He knows D.C., and he also knows us.
But winning this race won’t be easy. Trust me, as someone who’s been a candidate for Congress; it takes a lot of hard work to turn out the vote.
We can’t afford to hope our Congressperson has the tools to win the fight for our reproductive rights. Josh must be our Democratic nominee, so we need your help.
The old rule of thumb is that every dollar in the door helps reach one more voter. So, John, this is crunch time. I’m doing all I can to help Josh win, but I need you to do the same. Please pitch in $5, $10, or more before this final end-of-month deadline:

We’ll always have to fight for our rights. That’s why we need Josh Riley. Thank you for being in the fight too.
