The momentum for our campaign for Congress is growing every day. When I meet voters and supporters out on the campaign trail, I am always so inspired to hear their stories on why they’re excited about this race. 

One story I hear over and over again is the importance of protecting workers' rights – including the ability to collectively bargain for better wages, safety protections, and benefits. So many young people leave our district to work in the cities, and we have to make sure they have the opportunity to stay local to start their lives if that’s what they want. That’s why I am so proud to announce recent endorsements we have earned from key union and labor groups. So far, we have the support of:

As UMD faculty, I am a proud union member of UEA. Earning the endorsement of my union siblings means so much. For decades, the Democratic Party has been unabashedly pro-worker and pro-union. This helped us win races up and down the ballot and fight together for workers – and I feel that momentum building this year as well.

That’s why I’m promising to not shy away from building a campaign focused on uplifting workers and ensuring that everyone in our district has access to good-paying jobs that don’t just allow you to pay the bills, they allow you to have a life. 

This focus will give us a real chance to flip this district back blue and defeat Congressman Pete Stauber in November – but we can’t do it without your support, too.
