Friend, my friend Andy Beshear was just sworn in as the next governor of Kentucky.

I couldn’t be more excited to see Governor Beshear go to bat for our teachers, our workers, and our fellow Kentuckians who count on affordable health care.

But today means something else, too: Even though the pundits and experts in D.C. may have a hard time believing it, a Democrat can win in Kentucky.

If, in 2019, a Democrat can flip a state Trump won by 30 points, we can do it in 2020.

If, in 2019, a Democrat can win in counties we haven’t won in decades, we can do it in 2020.

The writing is on the wall for Mitch McConnell. Chip in now and help us make 2020 Mitch’s last year in the United States Senate—and the year we elect a better leader who’ll put Kentucky first:
