Team, Trump’s return to Arizona was a good reminder of the type of GOP extremism he attracts. That’s the only way to describe his chosen candidates up and down the ballot.
Feeling a boost after Trump’s visit, candidates like Kari Lake and Mark Finchem are openly declaring they won’t admit defeat if they lose this November. Just like Trump didn’t. We can’t have that nonsense continue any longer in Arizona.
In a few days, Arizona will hold its primary, and we’ll know exactly who we’re up against this November. All indicators are that Trump’s picks are going to win, which means the choice will be clear – either more Trump and far-right extremism, or not.

The Arizona GOP is extreme from top to bottom. When they aren’t risking our democracy and elections, they push all kinds of dangerous and extreme ideas.
They want to prosecute medical providers and patients seeking reproductive care, they brag about FBI subpoenas, and they chase far-right dog whistles every chance they get.
We need better leadership, and it’s never going to come from the AZ GOP.
