Dear NCRC members and allies,
It may seem like an unlikely partnership, but did you know that hospitals and health care systems can be allies in the fight for tenant protections and advocacy?

Social determinants of health are not merely the provision of services to individuals outside of traditional health care, it includes changing the conditions in which people live. This means supporting policy change.

Join us at the 2020 Just Economy Conference ([link removed][UNIQID]) April 27-29, 2020, in Washington, D.C., for innovative conversations on how to bring health-focused funders into the fold to support organizing and advocacy.

This newly-announced session will use tenant advocacy to show how health care institutions are starting to invest in housing construction and tenant services. We will discuss how to help draw the health connections that will lead to the support of policy changes and base building for tenant organizing and protections.

Attendees will learn how to make the case to health care funders/institutions to support their advocacy work and funders will learn why such support is not only important but can bring greater benefits to communities than working on one project at a time.

Conference prices go up next week; save your spot today.
