This headline is frightening, John.

Trump is trying to install his MAGA loyalists in state legislatures across the country. We have to stop him. Will you chip in $7 for my campaign for Iowa State House District 1?

This has been the game plan all along. Trump has his MAGA loyalists in the Supreme Court and in Congress, and now he’s got his eyes on state legislatures. I don’t need to tell you how frightening it is, especially after Trump already tried to strong-arm state officials into overthrowing the election so he could stay in power.

As it stands, Republican lawmakers control the majority of state legislatures in the country, including in my home state of Iowa. We can change this by investing in state and local races. 

Will you chip in $7 to my campaign for Iowa State House District 1? We need to win every seat we can muster in the Iowa Legislature.

I’m running for Iowa’s State House District 1 to fight for affordable health care, quality education for every family in my district, and to level the playing field for workers and small businesses who have been squeezed by corporate monopolies. 

Unlike Trump, I’m not running for office just so I can wield power. I’m trying to give power back to the people, where it belongs.
