July was a busy month for us, so we have a lot of critical updates. But first, we have to ask: July ends in just 3 days, and right now, we’re $7,500 short of our monthly fundraising goal. First: The Hill said our “toss-up” race is one of most important in the country, and PoliticsPA rated it as one of the most vulnerable races in the Commonwealth.
Then: We learned that our opponent, Jeremy Shaffer pumped an additional $500,000 of his own personal fortune into his campaign. This is the second time he’s done so this year, bringing his self-financed contribution total to $1 million.
Now: When the stakes are this high, and the race is this close, we can’t afford to fall behind. It’s critical that we hit every monthly goal between now and November, which is why we’re asking for your help to close the $7,500 gap before Sunday night.
Our radical opponent is relying on corporate PACs and his own personal wealth to power his campaign. But not Chris. Our campaign is people-powered, which means we’re counting on folks like you to chip in whatever you can afford to keep us running at full steam.
