What a busy (and delightful!) last week or so on the campaign trail!! So much to share:
👉🏽We had an amazing turnout in Gig Harbor with Senator Patty Murray where dozens of volunteers showed up to knock doors and get out the vote!

👉🏽Friends and neighbors are generously opening their homes, their address books (and their wallets) to host events to raise money for my campaign – including my 5th-grade teacher from Sunnyslope Elementary! We talked about healthcare access, substance use disorder treatment, pathways to education and career training, and building a future in which we all thrive. So grateful for my community — and all that we can do together!

👉🏽Democracy is a team sport – and I couldn’t reach the doors of nearly 12,000 voters without my incredible volunteer team! I am awestruck by many people who have come out to knock doors for this campaign every week. This past weekend we had high school classmates, my family, my neighbors, and other community members join our campaign to talk to voters!

👉🏽Last Saturday we celebrated Kitsap Pride 2022! As the first out queer woman elected to the Washington State Senate, I not only represent the 26th district, but so many LGBTQ+ families who finally see themselves in their government. I am so lucky and so proud to be a keeper of so many stories, to bring your voices to Olympia. Together we’re making our future brighter, healthier, and more equitable — and definitely more glittery!

All this work is crucial to getting our message out before ballots are due on Tuesday, and we aren’t planning on slowing down. I need your help to get there though. We need to make sure voters we can’t reach are seeing our ads and our volunteers and staff who are knocking doors need supplies.
We need $4,665 to hit our end of July pre-primary goal. That is the number where we will have what it takes to fully fund our ad and outreach efforts. Can you help us get over the finish line?
