Save the date for the Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning's Annual Meeting!

Join us on Thursday, September 22nd from 8:30-10:00 am for the Coalition's 21st Annual Meeting! Our keynote speaker this year will be Dr. David Jacobs, the Chief Scientist at the National Center for Healthy Housing. Dr. Jacobs is one of the country's leading authorities on lead poison prevention and has been dedicated to the cause for decades. He will be speaking on “Reforming the 1992 Federal Lead Paint Law: How to Improve It 30 Years Later."

At the meeting, we will also be giving updates from our Screening & Professional Education and Government Relations committees, sharing the Monroe County Elevated Blood Lead Level testing data, and presenting our Certificates of Appreciation.

Coalition Staffing Update 

We are sad to announce that one of our staff members, Hana Mamnoon is leaving the Coalition to pursue another opportunity. We are thankful for all that she has done for the Coalition.
