Friend, the January 6th committee hearings have been sobering.
Donald Trump planned, ahead of time, the march to the Capitol that ended with police officers dead and our institutions shattered. It was not a spontaneous decision, although he worked to have it seen that way.
While Trump himself never made it to the Capitol, the insurrectionists did.
And minutes later, OH-01 GOP Rep. Chabot voted to side with the mob and overturn our fair and free presidential election.
We must never forget the cowardice of Chabot that day. I certainly haven’t, and it’s what fuels my campaign to unseat him in November.
