Michelle Obama is right, John:

We're heading into arguably the most important midterm election of our lifetimes, and Michelle Obama is calling on grassroots Democrats like you to take action.

We all know that so much is on the line this November: protecting voting rights, restoring the right to choose, fighting the climate crisis, and defending our democracy.

Democratic leaders like Sen. Tom Carper are doing everything they can to lead our country forward. Tom's helped get critical legislation across the finish line time and time again – like the landmark infrastructure bill, the American Rescue Plan, and the most substantial piece of gun safety legislation in decades. And from his position as the top Democrat on the Environment and Public Works Committee, he's pushed bold solutions to save our planet from further climate crises.

Even though we only have the slimmest possible Democratic majority – and there is so much more that we still have to accomplish – we can see a glimpse of the better, fairer America that we're working for. But if we let McConnell take back the Senate, we can say goodbye to all of the progress that we've made.

We cannot give McConnell and his right-wing allies free rein to push their dangerous agenda. We must fight back.
