John, I just had an important
phone call.

I talked with my dear friend and brother – civil rights attorney Lee
Merritt – about three cases where Black fathers were murdered by police
just in the last week:

* Cameron Lamb - Kansas City, MO, 12/2
* Michael Dean - Temple, TX, 12/3
* Demetrius Williams - Marshall, TX, 12/5

It’s too much. It’s way too much. Each family has been destroyed. It’s
hard on us. It’s hard on them. It’s hard on the community.

The deadly culture of policing and incarceration in America is
heartbreaking. Now is the time to double down on our fights on all fronts.
