There’s a lot on the line in this year’s midterm elections. With the stakes so high, no voter should be denied the opportunity to make their voice heard at the ballot box.
Yet, after voters turned out in record numbers in 2020, anti-democratic politicians have doubled down on their suppressive tactics — primarily targeting voters of color and young voters — in order to hold onto their power this year.
That means we need to double down on our work to protect the vote and fight back. So we’re excited to announce that Fair Fight Action has just received a $37,000 grant from CREDO Mobile, and we’re asking our community of supporters to double the impact by raising another $37,000 so that this support goes twice as far.
Fair Fight Action knows how to fight voter suppression, and raising strong support through emails like this one to secure resources is a big piece of that puzzle. Will you pitch in today to double the amount of support for our voter protection programs in this year’s midterms? [[link removed]]
If you are feeling frustrated about continued efforts to undermine democracy, you are not alone. But the team at Fair Fight Action has remained strongly focused on breaking down barriers to voting across the nation and mitigating voter suppression.
In preparation for the midterms, we have been working to stop extreme anti-voter legislation and expand voter protection programs in key states around the country — like Michigan and Georgia.
The support we receive from emails like this one help make all of this possible. And the truth is that NOW is the time to be investing in this critical work, rather than days before the election day.
Will you help supercharge our efforts by matching a donation today? Your contribution will make twice the impact today, and could pay off in dividends by the time voters are casting their ballots in November. [[link removed]]
