I am pleased and proud to announce that I have been endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice America!
I am a long-time advocate for women's reproductive freedom, and the endorsement and support of NARAL is personally important to me. In Congress, I will fight to protect access to reproductive care and defend the right of women to choose and make their own healthcare and reproductive decisions. First, I need to win this election. |
With the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, access to safe, legal abortions is at risk. In many states, it is already illegal, even if in cases of rape and incest, or when an abortion is medically necessary to save the life of the mother. Now, more than ever, we need to elect leaders who will stand up and fight for a woman's right to choose. I will fight to protect choice, and I will be an advocate for women's healthcare, but I can't do that without your help.

NARAL is working hard to defend women's rights in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision. They have endorsed strong, pro-choice candidates around the country, and I am proud to be one of them. In a statement announcing my endorsement, and the endorsement of two other strongly pro-choice candidates, NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement: “Republicans want a nationwide ban on abortion, and the best way to stop them is to elect candidates who will fight to protect and advance our freedom to decide if, when, and how to start or grow a family. We are in the fight of our lives, and we need leaders ready to be bold and unapologetic in their beliefs. The majority of Americans—8 in 10—support the right to legal abortion. We must have a Congress
that reflects that.”
We are all in this fight together. If we are going to defend the rights of women to make their own healthcare decision, we need to stand-up now. None of us can afford to sit on the sidelines, and that is why I am asking for your support today! |
