Over the past few weeks as I and our DeanTeam volunteers have been out and about in our community -- at parades, festivals, meet-and-greets, and more -- I have witnessed a palpable shift in both the sense of urgency and the level of engagement in this midterm election.

With everything from reproductive freedom to voting rights to democracy itself on the line, this is welcome news -- but we will need to both sustain and build upon this momentum for another 103 days for it to make a meaningful difference.

Our end-of-month deadline is fast approaching, and we really need to make it count if we're going to keep this energy going until Election Day. Raising $10,000 by Sunday will ensure we stay on track -- can you chip in today to help fund these last critical months?

Holding this seat is key to preserving our majority in the U.S. House. To do so while also creating a rising tide for candidates at the state and local level, we will need the resources necessary to engage effectively, both with Democrats who may not vote without hearing from DeanTeam volunteers about what's at stake and independent voters and others who we know will vote but haven't yet made up their minds for whom.

If you're reading this message, chances are you are already planning to vote in November, and for that I am grateful. However, there are many others who aren't following along as closely and may not vote, which is why this end-of-month deadline is so important.
