Donald Trump clearly violated his oath of office by asking for a political favor from a foreign leader and then obstructed justice when he and his enablers failed to cooperate with this investigation. This is why articles of impeachment are being drawn.

We’ve seen patriots from the military, the diplomatic corps, and Trump’s own administration come forward to blow the whistle on the President’s illegal actions. These are people who exemplify the value of service before self. They bravely stepped up when they saw the most powerful man in this country abuse that power for personal gain, and I salute their valor.

We don't know what the future holds, but one thing is obvious: We need more leaders who will put service to their country before themselves.
