Hey friends – I’ve never been a fan of those emails that claim THE ENTIRE ELECTION DEPENDS ON YOUR DONATION.

I understand the need to fundraise, but I never want to mislead my supporters in search of a quick buck.

I’ll be honest – a single donation probably won’t radically change the dynamic of this race, but every cent we raise will be used to help keep CT-04 blue. Will you chip in $15 or anything you can to my campaign?

Here’s something you probably don’t see a lot in other fundraising emails you receive: here at Team Himes, the sky is NOT falling.

Right now, my team and I feel confident about our chances in November. For months, my team and I have been preparing and organizing, all in anticipation of Election Day. But we’re also not taking anything for granted.

While we’ve been contacting voters for the past year, the stakes in these midterms are high, and there’s always more work to be done.
