Yesterday, my team reached out to tell you about our $8,000 monthly budget gap. In a moment, I’m going to explain how we got to that amount and why it’s so important that we hit it, but before I do, I have to ask: We still need to raise $7,200 to reach our goal before midnight on Sunday. To prepare for November I work closely with Abe, my campaign manager, Brooke, my finance director, and the rest of my team to plan for the challenges ahead. We faced one of our toughest challenges yet when we learned that a Kevin McCarthy-aligned PAC made a $1.75 million investment in Connecticut to try and prop up my opponent.

It’s critical that we fight back, John, and the best way we can do that is by hitting every single monthly goal from now until November.
