John – we’ve been telling you how dangerous the GOP’s independent state legislature theory is. Now A.G. Holder is speaking out about the the case that the Trump Supreme Court could use to legitimize this theory:

"Moore v. Harper is the latest Republican power grab, and it may be their biggest yet… The case threatens our systems of checks and balances [and could] give state legislatures… near-total power over how federal elections are conducted.

But John, the situation is NOT hopeless. We have a plan to fight gerrymandering and defend our democracy no matter what SCOTUS does. And we have a track record of winning:

• This community has helped elect dozens of Democrats since 2017 who have fought gerrymandering in their states.
• We’ve also successfully supported redistricting reforms and pushed back against Republican attempts to restrict voting rights.
• And our fair-map movement has BLOCKED GOP gerrymandering in key swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania!
