Taxidermist ordered to pay fines and restitution
Green River taxidermist ordered to pay fines

A Green River taxidermist has been ordered to pay restitution to several clients following an investigation by Wyoming Game and Fish Department Game Wardens. *The investigation began in April 2021 after it was reported that the owner of White Mountain Skulls, Naomie Martinez, had failed to submit her records for 2020. Moose and bighorn sheep hunters: Game and Fish wants your input on preference points

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is*?asking for input [ [link removed] ]*?on a recommendation to change how preference points work in moose and bighorn sheep license draws.*?The proposal [ [link removed] ]*? researched and drafted by the*?Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce [ [link removed] ]*?? suggests Game and Fish change from a preference point draw to a weighted bonus points draw. The proposed changes would impact the way Wyoming moose and bighorn sheep licenses are issued for residents and nonresidents.?*A short survey form is available on the Game and Fish website and will be open until Aug. 1. WY Game and Fish encourages hunters to download the 2022 hunting regulations

Due to global supply chain issues at printing presses, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is unable to provide a mailed, printed booklet of the 2022 Antelope, Deer and Elk Hunting Regulations to all license holders. *Hunters will need to download the regulations online and either self-print a copy or save the brochure to their mobile devices. Construction underway on the South Park Wildlife Habitat Management Area
Construction underway on a new wetlands enhancement project at the South Park Wildlife Habitat Management Area [ [link removed] ]

Construction is well underway on a new wetlands enhancement project at the South Park Wildlife Habitat Management Area approximately five miles south of Jackson. The purpose of the project is to restore existing wetlands. *Once completed the project will provide permanent wetlands favored by breeding swans and waterfowl, seasonal shallow water wetlands to increase forage for both migrating birds and wintering big game and additional waterfowl hunting opportunities for the public.
