With the upcoming elections quickly approaching, we wanted to make sure you were aware of some recent victories and updates on Election Integrity:

  • DROP BOXES & BALLOT HARVESTING ARE RULED ILLEGAL. [see below]

  • The number of voters who are registered as 'Indefinitely Confined' was cut down by 55% since November 2020.

  • JCRAR voted to suspend WEC rule on curing absentee ballot envelopes.
  • Kenosha and Ozaukee County were two of the latest counties to pass bans on private/outside money being allowed to impact our election system.
    • Walworth, Washington, Lafayette, Kewaunee, and Brown are the other counties who passed similar resolutions.

These are victories voters can be proud of. We will continue to fight to ensure transparent and fair elections!

The RNC has also launched a new website (wisconsin.protect thevote.com) that enables election observers and volunteers to report any election irregularities they are seeing in real-time!

We will also be having a virtual Election Inspector Workshop on July 30th. Sign up below to receive the link!

Subject: Wisconsin's Supreme Court Ruling

John --

In a major win for election integrity, the Wisconsin Supreme Court affirmed that ballot drop boxes and ballot harvesting are ILLEGAL.

The WisGOP has long opposed these practices, as they go against the letter of the law, create opportunities for fraud, and undermine confidence in our elections. We even joined the RNC and NRSC in an amicus brief in this case.

We’ve fought tooth-and-nail to make sure that our elections are run in accordance with the law. We’re finally starting to see our hard work pay off, and today’s decision is a major step in ensuring that Democrats will be forced into a fair fight that holds them accountable for their record. But we know that the Democrats won’t let up, and neither should we.

To make sure that we further prevent practices that undermine election integrity, here’s you can do:

  1. Volunteer to elect a Republican governor this fall. The Legislature passed a number of election integrity bills this session that were VETOED by Tony Evers. We need to elect a Republican governor who will sign these bills and make election integrity a priority. You can sign up to volunteer on our website here.
  2. Join your county party to stay apprised of opportunities to secure election integrity in your community. The WisGOP worked with county parties to recruit a record 5,000 poll workers for the 2022 election cycle.
  3. Support our Election Reform Fund to make sure that we’re ready for anything that the Democrats throw our way from now until November.

In 2020, the WisGOP took a variety of legal actions, often with partners at the RNC and the Trump campaign, aimed at forcing various election officials to carry out the law, promoting election uniformity, and stopping the Democrats from exploiting election laws for their benefit. In the event that any legal action is required to help ensure that our election laws are followed, our Election Reform Fund supports those efforts.

As always, thank you for your support.
