John,
While Keith is on the front lines fighting to protect abortion rights, his Republican opponents are arguing about who will do a better job attacking them.
Today, one of Keith’s opponents, Doug Wardlow, pledged to “wage war” against Doe v. Gomez – the 1995 MN Supreme Court decision that guarantees the right to a safe and legal abortion in Minnesota.
KARE 11’s John Croman reporting from Wardlow’s press conference on Wednesday, July 27
Wardlow previously vowed to make criminalizing a woman’s right to choose a “top priority” if elected Attorney General, so we’re not surprised by his new pledge. But still, it’s a stark reminder of what’s at stake in this race.
The choice is clear, but we can’t warn Minnesotans about the threat Keith’s GOP opponents pose to our state without you. With our end-of-month deadline coming up on Sunday, July 31, please pitch in so we can run the campaign we need to win in November.
