My team just shared some big news with me, folks: Donald Trump is coming to Wisconsin twice next month to fire up his right-wing base.

In 2016, Trump became the first Republican to win Wisconsin since 1984, and he won it by less than one percentage point. That year, our state gave him the 10 electoral college points he needed to secure the presidency.

And in 2020, Trump placed his “final bet” on Wisconsin — holding countless rallies in the final weeks before Election Day and spending millions of dollars to flood our airwaves with attack ads to try to tilt the scales in his favor. But thanks to this incredible team, we fought back — and we won .

But the truth is, Trump only lost our state by 0.6% that year, which is why it’s no surprise he’s planning two back-to-back trips next month. He’s confident that he can shore up his right-wing base and help his friends flip our Democratic majorities. We can’t afford to let him succeed.
