I think the Republican party’s 2022 slogan should be: No shame. And no consequences.

Take Kevin McCarthy for example. On a private call he says Trump should resign after January 6th, and now he’s Trumps #1 fan. No consequences.

Or just this week - one of my Republican colleagues voted against our bill to protect gay marriage, and then 3 days later attended his own son’s wedding to another man. No consequences for the hypocrisy.

I’m sick and tired of letting them get away with preaching about equality and patriotism and then turning around and doing the exact opposite.

November is our opportunity to hold them accountable. I know a lot of Democrats are tired and frustrated with the direction of our politics. Trust me, I get it. But I also refuse to let Republicans succeed while they live out this hypocrisy!
