John, it’s official: Republican Mike Van Meter has entered our Senate race.
Van Meter is a podcast host who supports rolling back gun reform and LGBTQ+ rights. He is also a vehement supporter of the discriminatory bathroom bill, saying, “As far as the transgender issue is concerned, you do you. But where I draw the line is now going into different bathrooms…I’m one of those that says absolutely not.”
This is the divisive and disgusting language that the right is using to pave the way to discriminate against Virginians. Know that I will always stand up and fight against attacks like this, ensuring Virginia remains a welcoming and inclusive state!
