John, J.D. Vance would want women to stay with an abusive husband because he’s not sure divorce would make them happier. Yes, J.D. Vance made this ridiculous claim without a moment's hesitation--he means it. Can you chip in $7 today so we don’t have to read 6 years worth of news about J.D. Vance saying terrible things about women from a seat in the U.S. Senate? It fits in well with Vance's general disdain for women, his opposition to the Violence Against Women Act, equal pay for women and of course his wish to have absolute control women's bodies, telling you when to reproduce, when you must have children and who you should love. Vance is a bottom-dwelling dictator-in-waiting, a power-lusting leech who sees bashing women (both figuratively and literally, apparently) as his path to power. The comical part about JD's talk is he decried how we "shift spouses like we change underwear," yet he still has Donald Trump's endorsement tweet pinned to the top of his page, and talks about Trump like he's a Greek God. The guy who had five kids with three wives, cheated on all of them quite publicly, his most recent one with a porn star while she was home with their couple-month old child. How totally not hypocritical of Vance. Tim Ryan supports equal pay for women, the Violence Against Women Act, women serving at an equal rate to men in business and public office and their right to choose whom to love, when to procreate and their ability to terminate a pregnancy if they can't it to term. |
