We have an important update -- a new Republican opponent who worked in the George W. Bush administration just announced his campaign against me. We anticipate that he has the ability to self-finance his campaign. 

 

He has another significant advantage -- he can raise money for his campaign for the next few months. In contrast, this Friday at midnight, the fundraising freeze will go into effect and I won’t be able to accept donations until next spring. 

 

I don’t accept corporate contributions. That means I rely on your grassroots support to fund my campaign. Whatever you can contribute today will be critical to sustaining our team -- we can’t do it without you.
