We know about heat and humidity in our neck of the woods, John.
But when I was watching Hank's DC court expansion press conference on TV last week (the same one Breitbart attacked him for), I could tell the heat was getting to everyone.
I could also tell that there was no way Hank was going to duck under some shade or step away from the podium for a few minutes to cool down. Why? Because he is dead set on reforming the Supreme Court and he is dead serious about his bill to expand the court and rebalance it after all the conservative court-packing.
So I called up and asked if someone could bring water out to the press conference participants. Hank’s a healthy guy, but standing outside in a suit for an hour in 100-degree heat is enough to make anyone need a drink of water.
I’m telling you all this for two reasons. First, to illustrate just how resolved Hank is on fixing the court and returning it to its rightful role as the protector of Americans’ rights.
Second, as resolved as Hank is, sometimes he needs help. I got him water during a pivotal televised moment. But that was a small gesture compared to the support many of you have shown him and his court reform plan. And John, we need to keep supporting court reform and making sure Hank can combat the attacks against him coming from McConnell, Bannon, and the ideological right wing.
Thanks for all your help, John.
