I am running against an anti-abortion radical Republican. After last month’s landmark decision, he said that he was “thrilled” to see Roe v. Wade overturned.

I’ve always been an advocate for a woman’s right to choose. Let’s be clear: the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was an all-out assault on women’s rights handed down by an extremist court that is violating decades of precedent.

If Republicans retake the House, we will never be able to codify Roe and secure the right to an abortion nationwide. GOP leaders have already hinted at a national abortion ban should they come into power in Washington. We cannot allow Republicans to take back the House and further erode the right to choose.
