Friend,

Staying in the fight to transform our immigration system is a full-time job. That is why we’re focused on keeping you informed while cases surrounding DACA and other citizenship protections make their way through the court system on the path to the Supreme Court, but we can’t lose sight of the impact on real people whose fates remain uncertain.

Meet Jesus. Despite being eligible for protections under the DACA program, Jesus is one of thousands of Dreamers whose first-time DACA application remains in limbo due to a Texas District Court ruling. He bravely shared his story to give us a glimpse into the many ways the uncertainty of his status affects his life. Will you watch the video here and then share with your friends and family? Resources and opportunities for healthcare, security, careers, and so much more often remain out of reach, even when a community like the one Jesus has built does their best to fill in the gaps that permanent documented protection would fill. Dreamers and DACA recipients who have long called this country home deserve more.

As courts continue to litigate the future of the DACA program, only Congress has the power to ensure that Dreamers like Jesus and hundreds of thousands of DACA recipients can continue to live and work without threat of deportation.

Help us get the word out by sharing Jesus’s video now — we must keep pushing to achieve permanent protection for DACA applicants and undocumented individuals. [link removed]
