Friend – I want to say thank you to every supporter who has contributed to our historic, people-powered movement. 

As a Black girl growing up in the segregated South – the daughter of a maid and a janitor – I never could have imagined that I would have the opportunity to run for the U.S. Senate, much less inspire such a massive outpouring of support.

My team just told me that we just reached our goal of 500,000 donors (I can barely believe it myself!), and I'm so proud that every single one of you is fighting for a better future so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their American dream like I did. 

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'm running for U.S. Senate – and I'm running to WIN! If you believe in me and my campaign, will you chip in $5 right now to help me flip Florida blue and protect our Democratic Senate majority?
