It's a busy time, but I wanted to take a moment to touch base with you.

My team and I have been hard at work fighting for gun safety, marriage equality, abortion access, and more. I'm particularly proud of the progress we've made toward passing my Assault Weapons Ban Act.

With the election drawing nearer and control of the House hanging in the balance, it's vitally important that we not back down from the fight on these key issues. The GOP is well-funded, and it continues to allow far-right extremists to take the lead.
