These are incredible numbers Friend, Today I received an update from volunteer signature collectors from the state's third Congressional district, which extends along the New Hampshire border east-to-west from cities like Gardner to Haverhill, and all the way south to Marlborough. As you know, in order to put the law granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants before voters this fall in the form of a referendum, we need to collect more than 40,000 signatures by Aug. 24. The latest numbers from this district are incredibly promising, and I've included this group's special announcement below. Read on to see how they're doing, and be sure to visit www.fairandsecurema.com for updates on locations and times. These patriots are making it happen, and I am extremely proud of their work. To victory, Jim Lyons Chairman, Massachusetts Republican Party Welcome to the fourth edition of the CD3 Ballot Referendum Initiative Newsletter. In this newsletter, we collect news and info from the canvassing trail for us, the canvassers, to help us organize and grow the effort to get this important referendum on the ballot. RESULTS! Last week was simply amazing! Together, we in CD3 collected a combined 1588 signatures from over 12 sites. Statewide total collected was over 25,000 !!! We now engage in a critical final sprint for our share to help reach statewide 60,000 in the remaining four weeks. Opposition News Hoping the opposition, who experienced the pain of promise of arrest in Westford and now a MA Superior Court lawsuit plus the Federal MA District Court lawsuit will effectively stop them in their tracts. After some relatively tame or lame protestors appeared on Saturday, even that disappeared the following day on Sunday. Unless preferred for a particular canvas site, we’ll move to publicizing most locations again. Above, at Cabela’s on Saturday, two ineffective protestors relegated to just holding signs. Certification and Sweeping Now at the halfway point, it is time to bring our raw signatures to our local Town/City Clerks. This greatly helps the effort by pacing the clerks, while the total certified number can be gleaned for planning purposes. Each canvas site’s main Anchor person can take sheets, will know which towns to bring sheets to, and able to get the further-away towns to SWAP meets, where we also are able to gather raw signatures gathered outside the district yet needing to go to our local clerks. When the clerk is done, and you are notified they are ready, no need to pick them up – you can leave them with your clerk. Designated ‘Sweepers’ will pick them up (they will be authorized to do so WITHOUT the receipt). Thank you Town and City Captains of CD3 and a hardy pat on the back to all us Volunteers of and near CD3!!! Massachusetts Voter Integrity NEEDS US, is depending on us, and we’re all stepping up to do our part!
