We don’t like to reach out with bad news, but we want to give you an honest update, John. While our campaign is working tirelessly to close a fundraising gap before Sunday’s deadline, The New York Times reported yesterday that Republicans are raking in money from corporate special interests:

Quote from The New York Times: Working in the party's favor is that Wall Street billionaires and other industry titans have cut seven- and eight- figure checks to Republican super PACs...

No surprise, Wall Street Billionaires and corporate special interests are pumping money into the super PACs spending against us. They are desperate to beat us and buy the Senate majority.

That’s why what we raise before this deadline matters, John. This is a real marker that will help us determine what our campaign can and can’t afford. We’re making important budget decisions right now that will determine if we have the resources to fight back against Republican super PACs’ corporate cash, so we need your help:

John, can you make today the day that you step up for the first time and contribute to Cheri Beasley? We cannot fall short of our goal while this kind of dark money floods North Carolina to try to defeat us.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

Cheri has already faced a slew of dark money attack ads from these same exact Republican super PACs trying to buy this seat, and there’s no doubt that these attacks will continue to ramp up as we get closer to November.

They know Cheri Beasley’s vote is not for sale because she refuses to take a dime of corporate PAC money, so they’re doing everything they can to defeat her.

But the good news is this grassroots team has proven we have what it takes to fight back and compete with these special interests. Despite their millions in spending, Cheri has held her own and is tied with her opponent Ted Budd in the polls.

The results are clear: Cheri can win this seat, but not without all of us backing her with our full support. So we need to ask:

Please, chip in $3 or whatever you can afford to Cheri Beasley before our July deadline comes to a close. It will take all of us stepping up if we want to reach this critical goal and make sure this seat is not for sale.

CONTRIBUTE

Thank you,

Team Beasley
