We've got good news and bad news, John.
Let's get the bad news out of the way first: Top Republicans, including the National Republican Congressional Committee, are targeting our race. Plus we just learned that our Republican opponent's biggest donor in the last FEC reporting period was a PAC associated with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.
We need to be prepared to face an onslaught of attacks from the GOP before Election Day as they attempt to flip this seat and defeat Summer.
But, here's the good news: This people-powered movement knows how to win. Before our primary election, corporate PACs spent upwards of $4 million flooding the airwaves with misinformation and lies — but our grassroots victory proved this election can't be bought.
Working together, we can keep up our momentum and send Summer to Congress on November 8. But first, we need to stay on track with our monthly fundraising. We've set a goal to raise $18,635 by Sunday's end-of-month deadline, and right now we're running 46% short.

Summer is exactly the kind of leader we need in Congress. She was born and raised right in the district, and as State Representative has fought Republicans to protect reproductive, voting, and LGBTQIA+ rights here in Pennsylvania. In Washington, she'll advocate and fight for real change including Medicare for All and a Green New Deal.
With the election just over three months away, we can't afford to slow down. It's going to take a strong grassroots movement to defeat our Republican opponent in November, so we need to ask again:
