Recurring donations are gold to a political organization or campaign. The Democratic Party of Virginia relies heavily on small-dollar and recurring contributions to get us through election day running critical programs like our Voter Protection, Local Candidate, Training, and Voter Mobilization programs. These emails are usually full of clichés about the cost of a cup of coffee or eating out for lunch, but we want to be honest with you here. $5 or $10 a month from a couple of the folks reading these emails might not move the needle, but $5 or $10 from everyone? Our entire goal for the year would be met in one day.

Sustaining donations help us keep the lights on and they help us keep our talented staff in Virginia. Most importantly, they help us keep Glenn Youngkin accountable to every Virginian, not just the people who voted for him, and they’re going to help us win in November and take back the majority in the General Assembly next year.
