Dear Friends of 5 Gyres,
Earlier this month, we kicked off our Plastic-Free Parks TrashBlitz campaign to collect data on plastic pollution in U.S. National Parks. We've had more than 500 pieces of plastic waste documented, but we need more data to compile an effective report that can inform policy.
That's where you come in! Anyone can participate at any national park through September, and you can help by:
- Registering, doing a cleanup, and submitting your data
- Sharing with friends and family
- Hosting a group cleanup
