I want you to know just how important you are to this campaign. When I think about my most important supporters, it’s not about how much they gave.

I think about the people who were there when I needed them most. So far, nearly 1 million people have contributed to either my first campaign or my re-election.

Now that we’re in an election year and attack ads are already running, I need you more than ever.

But here’s the thing, the NRSC is spending MILLIONS on attack ads against me, and we don’t even have a Republican opponent yet. If this is what they’re doing now, imagine what they’ll be doing once we do.

And I have to be honest with you: June was a strong month for us, but it didn’t make up for how slow May was. We can’t afford to have a slow July, too.

So, I’m humbly asking:

Can you please split a $5 contribution between my re-election campaign and Fight for Progress? Help us reach our fundraising goals and defend this seat from the corporate special interest groups that want to beat us.
