Dear John,

Since 2016, the political conditions in the United States have become overwhelmingly violent and oppressive. The altrightwing and fascism has become increasingly organized and emboldened. Feminist activists in the US are experiencing imminent threats to their safety, a regression of basic human rights and changing legislation, such as the recent overturning of the landmark case, Roe v Wade.
The need for rapid-response grantmaking to support feminist activists who are fighting for change in the United States continues to grow, and Urgent Action Fund (UAF) is committed to mobilizing even more resources to the movements on the frontlines.

Since 2019, UAF’s grantmaking in the US has increased exponentially. Today, we’re aiming to expand our support to an even wider network of activists and organizations across the country, those are taking action now to drive change at this critical moment.

Our vision is for feminist leadership and activism to be at the forefront in the United States, leading the charge to develop and implement effective solutions, and also for women, trans, and gender expansive activists to be protected, sustained, and amplified in their transformative organizing.

Join us today and support powerful grassroots movements.
