Time
is of the essence.

At this very moment, the war in Ukraine is displacing millions of families
as it simultaneously compounds global food shortages. The cycle of
poverty, hunger, and conflict has accelerated in countries around the
globe — and so must our response.

We must get food to those who are hungry, medical supplies to those who
are ailing, and cash to those who need to find better living
circumstances. But these problems can’t be addressed solely with
short-term humanitarian aid.

That’s why we’re working every day to design solutions that focus on the
future, like providing resources to farmers to help grow bigger crops and
incomes in Uganda, training for small businesses owners in Lebanon, and
helping young people access education in Guatemala.

You’re such an important part of
making this a reality. When you give to Mercy Corps, you’re helping to
power a brighter future for people in 40+ countries around the world.

And you can give confidently, knowing that every $1 you donate today will
be added to an average of $4 in funding from government and multilateral
sources to enable us to provide even more lifesaving assistance.

We are so grateful to our community of supporters who have shown up time
and again when disasters strike. Support from donors like you has helped
us:

Deliver essential aid to people affected by the war in Ukraine and
connect refugees to resources that will help with recovery and
long-term support.

Respond to last year’s 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti by fixing
damaged water systems and continue to promote land conservation
alongside local leaders.

Provide immediate assistance to families in Indonesia following the
Mount Semeru eruption and remain on the ground to build sustainable
sources for clean water.

Help families recover after flooding in Nepal and build resilience to
future floods by shoring up riverbanks and training people on soil
erosion prevention.

I know that together we
can build a brighter future. I hope you will show up today to help those in
need in Haiti, Indonesia, and 40+ countries around the world by making a
donation.
