John – We know there’s a lot at stake in the 2022 election. From reproductive rights to climate action and gun violence prevention, extremists on the right have rolled back decades of progress – and this election is our chance to stop them. Jared is working tirelessly to address the most pressing issues for hardworking California communities. Our state is already seeing the impacts of climate change in record heat waves, ongoing drought, rising sea levels, and raging wildfires. In Congress, Jared is on the front lines of the work protecting our oceans and coastal communities, holding polluters accountable, and investing in clean energy. In the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs to dismantle abortion rights, Jared and his Democratic colleagues in the House are working to prioritize federal codification of reproductive freedom and contraceptive access. And just this past week, Jared joined with House Democrats to pass legislation recognizing same-sex marriages at the federal level, in anticipation of another rollback of rights from right-wing ideologues on the Supreme Court.
