John, we had to make sure these two Emerge alums were on your radar as their primaries take place on Aug. 2. Katie Hobbs and Mallory McMorrow are both daring to speak up and have the audacity to demand better for our communities – and for democracy itself.

Katie Hobbs, Emerge Arizona

Arizona secretary of state and Democratic candidate for governor Katie Hobbs is no stranger to pressure and scrutiny. As Trump escalated his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, Hobbs upheld her commitment to count every vote. Now, amid a nationwide attack on abortion rights, Hobbs pledged that – if elected – she will use the power of the governor’s office to defend bodily autonomy for every Arizonan.

Mallory McMorrow, Emerge Michigan

“I didn’t start my career in politics. I just wanted to do the right thing,” says Michigan State Sen. Mallory McMorrow. Now, after her fearless speech went viral, McMorrow is running to defend her Democratic seat so she can keep fighting against hateful policies that target marginalized communities – and help flip the Michigan State Senate blue for the first time in nearly 40 years.

Hobbs, McMorrow, and hundreds of powerhouse Emerge alums are fighting to bring fresh perspectives and deep commitment to every level of government in our country. With their leadership, we can counteract the GOP’s cynical strategies, protect essential rights in every state, and ensure that all our communities have what we need to thrive. But they can’t win without our help, John.

So please: Will you donate $5 or more to Emerge today to help Democratic women run for office and win up and down the ballot in every state?
