The Nation We Know: The Bush Center Annual Report

Dear John,

The values of freedom, opportunity, accountability, and compassion underlie everything we do at the Bush Center. We are convinced that we have more in common than not and that reasonable people can work together to seek solutions to today’s most pressing challenges. It’s more important than ever that we follow where President Bush has led in welcoming diversity of thought, something that’s at the heart of our democratic tradition in the United States. In 2021, we leaned on these ideals to tackle the challenges in front of us, and we are continuing this important work in 2022.
I hope that you will take a moment to read our 2021 Annual Report <[link removed]> to see how we have worked to ensure opportunity for all, strengthen our democracy, and advance free societies. I’m excited for the future <[link removed]> of this remarkable place and what it has meant and will continue to mean for generations to come. Thank you for your support and interest in our work.

Best regards,

Kenneth A. Hersh
President and CEO, George W. Bush Presidential Center
