The August primary is two weeks away – we want to make sure you know who we endorsed for state treasurer.
Angelito Tenorio has the clearest, boldest climate plan of all the state treasurer candidates. We’re proud to endorse him in the Aug. 9 primary election.
State treasurer is an important position which can make a real difference in our progress toward cleaner water and cleaner energy and has a role in protecting our beautiful public lands.
We trust Angelito Tenorio because we know him. We were thrilled to have Angelito as a member of Wisconsin Conservation Voters staff for three years. As an alderperson in West Allis and member of the Milwaukee Environmental Justice Roundtable, we’ve seen how he leads on climate issues across roles and spaces.
Angelito Tenorio will use the office of state treasurer to address climate change and prioritize clean water and clean energy investments. He will build the pro-conservation coalition in Wisconsin and be an important ally of Gov. Tony Evers.
