None of us need a weather report that this summer is really damn hot. So hot, in fact, that we're shattering records. We all know AC isn't cheap – these extreme temperatures are putting Americans' health, safety, and livelihoods at risk. 

The GOP is trying to convince us that drag queens and children's school textbooks pose an imminent threat to American greatness.

But thanks to three decades of right-wing climate denialism, fossil fuel cash, and willful ignorance, we're in a state of climate emergency. This is a national security crisis, and we need bold action now.
