Not happy with how the Supreme Court has been acting lately? Me neither.

But Supreme Court nominees usually come from the ranks of judges in lower courts. During Trump’s term in office, Republicans waved through unqualified and unhinged judges, one after another, often into vacancies they’d held open during the Obama administration.

Now they’re stonewalling and foot-dragging again, using the prerogative of Senators to put a “blue slip” hold on presidential nominees. They’re clearly hoping to be able to hold those judgeships open for the next Republican president to get back to packing the lower courts with the next crop of terrible Supreme Court nominees.

Tired of this? Write the Senate, and ask them to fix the rules so Biden can fill these critical positions.
